Injections
Direct and effective — but invasive. For many people the needle itself becomes the reason a dose is delayed, dreaded, or skipped altogether.

SteroNova is developing a thin, dissolvable strip that rests against the inside of the mouth and releases medicine gently across the mucosal barrier — no injection, no swallowing, nothing left behind on the skin.

Direct and effective — but invasive. For many people the needle itself becomes the reason a dose is delayed, dreaded, or skipped altogether.
Simple to take, but the digestive route is unforgiving. Many of the molecules that matter most are broken down long before they can reach where they are needed.
Easy to apply, but they sit on the surface — where they can be rubbed off, absorbed unevenly, or transferred to the people around you.
The result is a whole category of therapy held back less by the medicine than by the way it has to travel. Better delivery is not a convenience feature. It is the difference between a treatment that exists and a treatment people actually stay on.
The tissue lining the inside of the mouth is thin, richly supplied with blood, and permeable by design. SteroNova is building a delivery strip made specifically for that surface — one that stays put, dissolves on its own schedule, and hands its payload across the barrier rather than pushing it through the gut.
The strip is set against the inside of the cheek. No water, no swallowing, no device.
One face holds against the tissue and stays in place; the other keeps the payload where it belongs.
The strip dissolves gradually rather than all at once — a steady handover instead of a single surge.
The payload passes through the mucosal barrier into circulation, taking a shorter path than the gut.

Nothing to pierce, nothing to dispose of. The barrier between a person and their treatment gets a great deal thinner.
The strip goes where it is placed and stays there. There is no residue to rub off onto a partner, a child, or a pet.
Designed to release over time rather than in one burst — the goal is a smooth curve, not a peak followed by a valley.
Flat, light, and quiet to use. It fits in a wallet, travels without ceremony, and asks nothing of the room you're in.
The easiest dose to take is the one people will actually take. Making delivery unremarkable is the point.
One architecture, many molecules. What works for one therapeutic class is meant to carry over to the next.
Where we're pointing it
We are starting where the need is loudest and the delivery experience is the biggest obstacle, then extending the same platform outward.
